IllustrationHow the ranking works
One score out of 100, built from facts anyone can check. The parts, the weights and the read date are on every profile. The formula has not changed since the site opened on 15 October 2026 (version 1).

The five parts
| Part | Source | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Google reviews | Rating and review count from the agency's Google Business Profile, read 15 October 2026. Weighted so that a few reviews count less: 60 × rating/5 × n/(n+10). A 5.0 from 10 reviews scores 30; a 5.0 from 100 scores 54.5; a 4.8 from 32 scores 43.9. | 60 |
| English-language website | The site's home page was fetched and the share of Latin letters counted; a page that reads mostly in English, or declares English as its language, gets the points. | 15 |
| Public office address | A street address on the Google listing. | 10 |
| Working website | The site answered with HTTP 200 on 15 October 2026. A Facebook page, an expired certificate or a dead domain gets no points. | 10 |
| Public phone | A phone number on the Google listing. | 5 |
Who is included
Every business Google Maps returned as a real estate agency for the searches "real estate agents Beit Shemesh" and "real estate agents Ramat Beit Shemesh" on 15 October 2026: 26 listings. Two were removed: a vacation-rental agency, and a listing with an eyewear name that shares another agency's phone number. All 24 remaining agencies are ranked, across Ramat Beit Shemesh and Old Beit Shemesh.
What the score does not measure
- How good an agent is at negotiating, how fast they answer, or whether they represent you or the seller. Ask them.
- Review quality. Google's own count and average are used as they are; this site reads no individual review and adds none.
- Listings, prices or availability. None are shown here.
- Spoken English. Only the website language is checked, so a Hebrew-site office may still have English-speaking agents.
Corrections and updates
The Google figures are re-read when the ranking is rebuilt, and the date on each page changes with them. Agencies can correct an address, phone or website by email at zack.tokar@gmail.com; a correction is checked against a public source before it goes live. Paid profiles never change the score.
